If you believed water4gas the very first time you heard about it....well that's a bit weird (sorry!). But the chances are you have already seen the official website of water4gas and didn't believe it at once  right? Good!The purpose of this website is to answer that question, is water for gas a scam? Can you power an automotive with water? Can you produce hydrogen from water? What's hydrogen on demand technology (HOD)? What's HEC (Hydrogen Enhanced Combustion)? If you leave the site without answers, we've failed!

Water4gas is hydrogen power?

Well here's a hint, the SCIENCE behind water4gas involves hydrogen. This hydrogen is produced from water. But you probably knew that as well. So our purpose is to go deeper into the water4gas science.

 

Is hydrogen power a scam?

Definitely not, and nobody would/should argue with that. See the box below.

• The first hydrogen car was produced in 1965 by Roger Billings
•  Today you can walk into a store and buy a BMW Hydrogen 7, Mercedes-Benz F cell, or Honda FCX Clarity 
• At the experimental level, hydrogen has given as much as 1668.3 MPG
• President George Bush discussed  the benefits of hydrogen fuel back in 2003
• It's used to run buses in Iceland
• It's used to power entire cities in countries like Denmark and Japan
  

Doubt not, the potential of H₂ (but you are still entitled to doubt water4gas!)

Yes hydrogen has given 1668.3 MPG in experimental cars . Hydrogen is a potent energy source while being extremely eco-friendly, therefore is expected to replace all fossil fuels (i.e. gasoline and diesel) in the future. Have no doubt about the ability of hydrogen, although you are still entitled to doubt water for gas (read on to see if the 4.5 million dollars/year business, water4gas, really is a scam or not)

How is hydrogen produced?

In large scale hydrogen generation plants such as those used by Honda of California , energy from solar power is used to breakdown water. This hydrogen is stored in special tanks in hydrogen fuelling stations and pumped into hydrogen cars. (The US Air Force also did the research )

But you don't see hydrogen cars everywhere you go, do you? NOPE and for a reason. Yes there are a few limitations to this technology

Water4gas - role of hydrogen in the water for gas system

In the water4gas system, instead of solar power, the electric current from the car's own battery is used to produce hydrogen from water. 

The energy required to breakdown water doesn't have to be only from solar power

Water4gas electrolyser

The physico-chemical process of breaking down water with an electric current is known as ELECTRO-LYSIS (lysis by an electric current). The special gadget in which electrolysis takes place is called an ELECTROLYSER. Because hydrogen is produced onboard the car, as and when required, there is no need for hydrogen fuelling stations. The gas coming out of the electrolyser (containing high amounts of H₂) is directed to the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) of any gasoline or diesel vehicle (car/van/SUV/truck). And this hydrogen obviously burns together with the gasoline inside the engine.

The SCIENCE of water4gas - simplified version

Because of the very simple structure of H₂, compared to gasoline (that is Iso-octane = C₈H₁₈), hydrogen spontaneously burns together with gasoline/diesel increasing MPG by ~ 40%. This is known as HEC or Hydrogen Enhanced Combustion. And this is exactly what happens with the water4gas sysytem

Principle works, but does water4gas?

By now you should be convinced that atleast the SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLE of water4gas is not a scam, it's rock solid genuine. But that doesn't mean the water4gas system works, or produces enough hydrogen to give you a considerable boost of energy. 

If you go to youtube and type in the word 'water4gas', there will be 100s (if not 1000s) of videos of people using the water for gas system (and other similar water fuel systems) showing off their system and the mileages they're getting. The videos are not from just the general public only, some are Fox or MSNBC news items. There were two from the WYFF news channel (Greensville, South Carolina) that were particularly interesting and see the links below.

Then WYFF takes the question to the Dean, McKinney Automotive Center, and asks him about what he thinks on water4gas. He says it sounds like a typical "Get rich SCAM". Then WYFF asks his company to build a water4gas system and they do, and fix it on to a 1990 Buick. Then they see the results, ......then WYFF asks the question again, from the same person the Dean of McKinney Automotive Center and the answer .."no it's not a scam, it's the truth" so goes the story
